  8. Some of the features:
  9. * Freeware, no payment required.
  10. * Usage is similar (or better) to the standard AmigaDOS shell.
  11. * Supports the standard housekeeping commands which are builtin,
  12.   so no disk access is necessary.
  13.   eg. list, dir, cd, rename, makedir, delete, copy, path, info, type
  14. * A total of 64 builtin commands.
  15. * About 26K small (pure assembler code, source included).
  16. * Starting from Workbench or CLI/Shell possible.
  17. * Filenamecompletion by simply pressing TAB.
  18. * Review-buffer to see what scrolled out of the window.
  19. * Command line editing better than KS2.0 .
  20. * Command and Function key aliasing.
  21. * DIR and LIST both sort (by default) and show filesize.

  28. Description:
  29.   ZShell is a small (26K), fast and powerful SHELL with many (64) builtin
  30.   commands. So it replaces most of the commands in the C: directory
  31.   what effects in saving disk space and reducing disk accesses. There
  32.   is no way around ZShell for those who do not have a harddisk or still
  33.   have Kickstart 1.2/1.3 . But it is useful for those with a better
  34.   Kickstart and/or harddisk, too, because for example it has powerful
  35.   editing & history, filenamecompletion, review buffer and a lovely
  36.   LIST, DIR and INFO command (very sensible ones !). I tried to made
  37.   usage similar to the AmigaDOS Shell for easy using.

  39. Note:
  40.   This is an update to Version 1.3 on the Fish Library Disk 537 from
  41.   Paul Hayter. I (Martin) tried to ask him for permission to release
  42.   this, but he has not answered. Because it is still Freeware and the
  43.   original executable with documentation is included, I do not think
  44.   that I am doing something nasty. ( In the original distribution
  45.   there was the source code included but there was nothing stated
  46.   about changing the source. )
